Teen Mothers not College Statistics

Life as teenager is hard enough with parents expectations baring down on you from every direction, so lets complicate the situation even more and add a baby. When you become a teenager at the end of your high school term, the only thing most seniors have on their mind are where to go for college, sending out their applications, and waiting to receive their acceptance letters from the college of their choice. But what if what you end up opening is a letter from the clinic telling you you're going to be an expectant mother rather than you've been accepted to Yale University. The thoughts that rush through your mind at that moment are unbelievable, the emotions are uncontrollable, and it is at that moment that you decide the rest of your life is no longer your own, but the life of your unborn child. Being a teenage mother is not the end of the world, it is the beginning of a new one, one filled with lots of trials and tribulations, but like hurdles it is possible to get over them. Attending college as a teen mother is very difficult but you do not have to be the statistic society expects you to be, but the work involved to prevent such measure are beyond comparison to your average college major.
